Namoli Brennet is an Iowa-based singer-songwriter who has been touring the United States since the release of her first album in 2002. She is also a trans woman. Her live performances are primarily acoustic, although she has been known to augment them using loops, synths, bass pedals and foot percussion.〔(Namoli Brennet )〕 Her music has been described as "Gorgeous and introspective" (Zocalo Magazine), and she is well known for the honesty and intensity of her live shows as well as her quirky and comedic between-song banter. She has released a total of nine albums on her own record label, Flaming Dame Records, and her 2010 release "Black Crow" was named one of KXCI FM's 50 best albums of the year. Brennet is a multi-instrumentalist who engineers her own recordings; on her most recent CD, We Were Born to Rise, she played over 17 different instruments including melodica, clarinet, Hammond organ, and banjo. Her music was featured in the Emmy-award winning documentary, "Out in the Silence", which details the struggle of a gay teen growing up in rural Pennsylvania. Brennet has shared stages with Melissa Ferrick, Jill Sobule, Alix Olson, and Girlyman.. She moved from Connecticut to Tucson in 1996 to study choral conducting as a graduate student at the University of Arizona.〔Arizona Daily Star, "Brennet's life transition sparks musical growth", November 20, 2008.〕 ==Discography== *''Boy in a Dress'' (2002) Girls Gotta Eat Records *''Welcome to the Afterglow'' (2003) Girls Gotta Eat Records *''The Brighter Side Of Me'' (2004) Girls Gotta Eat Records *''Chrysanthemum'' (2005) Girls Gotta Eat Records *''Alive'' (2006) Girls Gotta Eat Records *''Singer Shine Your Light'' (2007) Flaming Dame Records *''Until From This Dream I Wake'' (2009) Flaming Dame Records * ''Black Crow'' (2010) Flaming Dame Records * ''We Were Born to Rise'' (2011) Flaming Dame Records * ''Namoli Brennet LIVE'' (2012) Flaming Dame Records * ''Ditch Lilies'' (2015) Flaming Dame Records 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Namoli Brennet」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
